The bobbin-wound sand filters are built from durable polyester and fibreglass resin for long-lasting performance. They include screw-closure, die-injected covers Ø 240 mm for sizes up to Ø 900 mm, and Ø 400 mm for Ø 1050 and Ø 1200 mm. Filters up to Ø 900 mm feature a blue satin finish with a clear polyurethane dust-protection coat, while larger models come in a solid blue finish. All units are equipped with high-resistance PVC and PP collectors and diffusers, a pressure gauge, and manual air and water purge valves. Models Ø 900 mm and above also feature a 2½″ sand drain for easy maintenance.
Designed for efficiency, these filters support a maximum flow rate of 50 m³/h/m² and operate up to 2.5 kg/cm², with 4 kg/cm² versions available by special order. A side-mounted 6+1 way selector valve is included for most models, offering multiple filtration modes, except on Ø 500, Ø 600, and Ø 750 mm units. The internal lining varies by size HDPE, thermoformed ABS, or fibreglass while the base is plastic for smaller filters and fibreglass for larger ones.
